Nice Buck with Video
Tropical Storm Ida might have dumped 6" of rain on the farm but that did not keep us out of our stands. Had this really nice buck come by at 40 yards. I have him on trail cameras from earlier this year and he is a dandy with some trash on his points. Hopefully he stays around the farm for another year and we can see what he looks like with another year. Come hunt with us this year at Locust Dale Hunts.
Big Bear on the farm this week
Went and set up in a stand this past week and had this guy come by at 50 yards. It is the first bear I have seen in person on the farm so I thought that was pretty cool. Come hunt with us today at Locust Dale Hunts!

Virginia Archery Opener
Fall is in the air and the Virginia archery opening weekend starts in three days. The bucks have shed their velvet and things are getting exciting on the farm right now.

Dove Hunt Opener
Great opening day dove hunt on the farm today. Barron and Mary Louisa drove down from D.C. and had full limits shooting over sunflower fields.
